Across countries and generations

Previous conferences

A rotating continental gathering shaped by its host countries.

Advocates Africa’s conference tradition began with an inaugural gathering at Hekpoort, South Africa. Conferences and regional gatherings have since connected member associations across the continent. Official organisational material records Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Nigeria and South Africa as repeat hosts, each having hosted the Advocates Africa conference three times by the date of that publication. Uganda was preparing to host for a third time. The rotating convention is more than an event: it enables fellowship, shared learning, network governance and collaboration among autonomous national Christian lawyers’ associations. The archive below records only details that are supported by Advocates Africa’s published material; further dates and themes can be added as historical programmes are recovered.
